The late Sandra Ryden, an innovator to the “Client-centered” philosophy in the 1990s, laid the foundation for the Ryden Team. Her idea was that if you take care of the client…they in turn will take care of you.
1998 with the business growing, Sandra invited her son Eric to help out for the summer. He enjoyed it so much, he left his teaching career and relocated to the Quad City area. He was a great addition to the already client-centered philosophy and added a boost of young, energetic talent to the team. The slogan “2 for 1” was created as Sandra believed that the client was getting two Realtors helping out for the price of one. Eric and Sandra worked hard to grow the company with this philosophy and always said a “paycheck could last a weekend, but a reputation will last a lifetime.”
After years of growing the business, the addition of Eric’s stepson in, Chad Cox, was essential in 2012. Chad’s ability to focus on the millennial ideas and the need for technology integration including a significant social media presence.
In 2015, Eric’s wife, Dawn joined the team. After spending 25-plus years in the mortgage business, she added a wealth of knowledge from the banking side of Real Estate, while keeping the personal client aspect the focus.
The Ryden Team has sold nearly $300 Million and close to 1,900 units in local Quad City Real Estate since 2012.
